the spot where Andrew Jackson defeated the Creek Indians in 1814.
Natchez Trace Parkway between Natchez, Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee.
It runs through northwest Alabama. It follows a route that was used
by pioneers to return north after floating goods down the Mississippi
River on flatboats.
