Description: The Death Adder has a reddish, brownish, yellowish color with distinct dark brown cross bands. They can be up to 105 centimeters in size.
Habitat: It lives in shrubs and grassland regions of Southwest Australia.
Diet: The Death Adder’s prey consists of frogs, lizards, birds, rats, and mice.
# Of Young: It has 10-30 live babies per litter.
Enemies: Its enemies are fox, cats and Cane Toads. The Cane Toad eats Death Adder babies. If an adult Death Adder eats a Cane Toad the Cane Toad will poison it.
They protect themselves with their huge fangs.
Weird and Wild Facts: The Death Adder is an ambush predator. Their fangs are 6-8 millimeters long.
