Jupiter has two rings around it. The planet turns on it's axis, but the rings stay in one place. The average temperature on Jupiter is negative 243 F. The planet takes 12 years to make one rotation around the sun and 10 hours to rotate on it's axis. Jupiter is 460 million miles from the sun. It has 16 moons some of which are: Metis, Adrastea, Amathea, Thete, Leda, Himalie, Lysithea, Elara, Ananke, Carme, Pasiphea, Sinope, adn S11999J1. These moons are part of a class of moons called the small moons.
