CONSTELLATIONS
Constellations are imaginary and show a group of stars pattern through the sky. These patterns were made up by groups of people over the past 6,000 years. Did you know that Scorpius, a constellation, is only visible in the Northern Hemisphere sky? The northern constellations today are a little different from those known by the Chaldeans and Egyptians. The zodiac consists of 12 constellations. The constellation Aquarius, a constellation within the zodiac, was named by the Sumerians after the Gods. The constellations have been redefined as the years have past.
Did you know that the Greeks and Romans created all 88 constellations? Plus constellations have many characteristics. Special stars are in constellations. Just like the Ring Nebula is in the constellation Lyra. Did you know that Alpha Centauri is the brightest star in the constellation Centaurus? Draco, the dragon, is an easy to spot constellation between the dippers. There are other characteristics of constellations, just like the Ursa Major is easy to spot on a clear night. These are the characteristics of constellations.

Constellations have a few specific uses. Constellations can help break the sky into managable bits. It makes the sky look less intimidating for study. And did you know that constellations can help you remember every single star? Different constellations can be visible. Plus they can tell you what month it is. And constellations are used as mnemonics. These are all the uses you need to know about constellations.
