Glossary 

Air currents - atmospheric, or flowing winds.   

Atmosphere - the air around us.

Cold Front - a gust of cool air.

Condense - when a gas condenses, it turns into a liquid, usually as a result of cooling air.

DC 10 Jet - a jet plane

Erupt - to break out suddenly ,with force

Fault - a fracture in the continuity of a rock formation caused by a shifting or dislodging of the earth's crust.

Funnel -  an open cone that narrows to a tube (such as a funnel cloud).

Hurricane - a strong summer windstorm 

Harbor - a place where ships dock

Molecules - a tiny particle of matter

Rotate - to turn around and around

Seismograph - Instrument for automatically detecting and recording the intensity, direction, and duration of a movement of the ground, especially of an earthquake.

Thundercloud - a cumulous nimbus cloud

Tropical Seas - Seas with tropical fish

Twister - another name for a tornado

Warm Front - A blast of warm air
