Army Command

The Army commandingship is broken up into branches. These branches are the Chaplains Corps, Military Intelligence, and Chemical Corps. The branches that go into battles are called combat arms. The Army is also divided into administrative groups under the command of a particular office. During wartime, combat supports the army such as the Corps of Engineers and the Military Police closely assist the combat arm. The administrative or noncombat support duties are called service supports arms. The president usually tells the army where to go. In the administrative groups each soldier is appointed to a group made up ten people, which is usually led by a sergeant. A platoon, composed of several groups, is under leadership of a lieutenant.
