Why
Dr. Seuss Wrote Yertle the Turtle![]()
Dr. Seuss liked to explain his point of view in his writing. Yertle the Turtle was his point of view on oppression, and over coming it with a peaceful resolution. Dr. Seuss could express his opinion, and not be muffled up. This book said what he could not. Yertle the Turtle is the best example of someone who has an opinion, and finds the best way to express it.
