Khufu lived abut 2600 B.C. He is buried at the Great Pyramid at Giza which is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. He was son of King Snefru. Not much is known about his life because part of his tomb was robbed during ancient times.Khufu began a vast cemetery at Giza which shows that he was a powerful ruler. The tombs of his mother, Hetepheres, and other relatives are near his pyramid. |
