Over the last
two months our web, graphics and photography classes have combined
their efforts to create a website that was well structured and yet
showed everyone's varying interests. Of course everyone thought
of different topic and choosing just one was difficult so we decided
as a team to use all of them but what would we call it? We needed
a topic name that integrated all our interests, and then it came
to us Special Interest Art. As soon as we found a name we
got to work mapping the future site. Our team of 14 students plus
two coaches met during advocate bell on Mondays and Thursdays all
the while working after school, in class, and even at home. As individuals
we lacked certain skills but as a team we were able to create something
that everyone was proud of. Great lessons were learned in the process,
lessons that will be used in the future. The
largest one being, how to work as a team, learning to let go of
battles over colors and subject matter because that's what a team
does. Altogether all 14 of us accomplished this and what a achievement
it was.
