People
say turtles are not very fast, but see how fast the turtle you make will
go.
1.
On a thin piece of cardboard or a paper plate, draw a turtle. You can begin
with a circle and then add a head, tail, arms, and legs.
2.
Color both sides of the turtle the same way, using crayons, paint, or markers.
3.
Cut out the turtle.
4.
Put a small hole on the shell behind the head.
5.
Put a 10 feet piece of string through the hole. Tie one end of the string
to a table leg or something like that. You hold the other end.
6.
Stretch out the string tight and the turtle will stand. Release the string
and it'll flop forward. Pull-flop to the end of the string. Then flip it
over and pull flop back home.
