Quendryth, better known as "Q", became part of the zoo animal keeper staff on April 1, 2001. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Large Animal Science from Delaware Valley College. Before she came to the Brandywine Zoo, Q worked at Animal Kingdom in Bordentown, New Jersey.
    Along with the other animal keepers, Q is responsible for the daily nutrition and physical maintenance of some of the zoo's 150 animals. She provides enrichment and veterinary tech services to the animals.
    The otters are Q's favorite animals. She said, "I like the otters at feeding time a lot because they are so active. When they hear my keys jingling at 2:50 p.m., they know they are going to eat."
    Q is married and lives on a dairy farm in Maryland. In addition to the 150 dairy cows, she has a dog Maisy and tow cats, Winny and Sassy.
