Kits
Need help teaching tough topics in science? Take advantage of Brandywine
Zoo's Loan Kit Program. The loan kits provide a simple curiculum
that you can follow with your class and are available for 2 week periods.
Teachers must complete an inservice orientation before borrowing the kit.
Suitcase
for Survival
This kit, which includes slides, slide script, text, activities and confiscated
artifacts, demonstrates the impact of wildlife trade on the delicate balance
of natural ecosystems. It was developed by the World Wildlife Fund.
Zoo
Careers
Zoos aren't just for zoo keepers any more. Zoos employ a wide variety
of people in animal careers, business, horticulture, and education.
Help your class explore these interesting options. This kit includes
video, fact sheets, activities, bulletin board materials, and some tools
that animal keepers use in their jobs.

Teachers are
asked to pick up and drop off kits from the Brandywine Zoo Education Building.
If the kits need to be shipped, teachers will be responsible for all UPS
