Make a Flipbook
Supplies needed: paper, scissors, pencil, thin marker, ruler, and stapler.
1. Divide your paper into strips 2 inches
wide.
2. Cut it into 3 strips of 1's, 2's,
and 3's. Divide the strips into equal sections, probably about 2 inches
wide.
3. Decide what animal you want to animate.
Draw that animal moving (like an owl flapping its wings) in sequence. Draw
a picture of the animal in one position in 1 strip. Draw another picture
of the animal in a different position in 2 strip. Draw a third picture
of the animal in another position in 3 strip. If you draw in pencil, go
over the drawings with a thin black marker.
