Plane crashes into World Trade Center in New York.

Along with the attack on Pearl Harbor, September 11th was one of the worst days in America's history. On a regular morning on September 11th, native New Yorkers woke up, then children went to school, and the adults went to work. In the World Trade Center, it was just a regular day at work, until 8:45 am.

On September 11th at 8:45 a.m., American Airlines Flight 11, a Boeing 767 bound for Los Angeles, slammed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Hundreds of people evacuated or tried to evacuate by running down then stairs or sadly jumping to their deaths if they couldn't evacuate. At 10:29 a.m., the North Tower collapsed.

At 9:06 p.m. on September 11th, the United Airlines Flight 175 coming from Boston's Logan Airport crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center. Hundreds of people try to evacuate and Canal Street is full of mayhem. At 10:00 the south tower collapses causing dust and debris to fill the streets of New York.

This was one of the most cowardly attacks since Japan attacked Pearl Harbor to start World War II. The terrorist behind these cowardly attacks is the leader of a Arab terrorist group, "Al-queda " whose name is "Osama Bin Laden ".

The United States of America is on a run to catch this terrorist behind the September 11th attacks. America has now have a alliance with the Northern Alliance. America is helping the Northern Alliance by dropping off medicine, food, clothes, water. etc. An estimated 6,000 people have been killed by the terrorist attacks. Half of the four hundred fire fighters have died trying to rescue the people and 78 New York Police Department officers are missing. I hope the United States catches Osama Bin Laden and give him the punishment he deserves. I also hope the families of the victims get better.
