Here are six (6) things you need to know about immunizations.

1. Children need to be immunized. They need to be immunized so they won't have serious diseases as they grow up.

2. Diseases that vaccines prevent
• Measles
• Mumps
• Polio
• Rubella
• Pertussis
• Diphtheria
• Tetanus
• Hib
• Hepatitis B
• Varicella
• Pneumoccal

3.Children need a lot of shots (the amount) Here are the ones that are required
• 4 doses of diphtheria, tentun, and pertussis vaccine (DtaP) • 4 doses of Hib vaccine
• 3 doses of pnemoccal vaccine
• 3 doses of polio vaccine
• 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine
• 1 dose of measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine (MMR)

4. Side effects can happen with vaccinations too. Here are some of them
• slight fever
• rash
• soreness at the site of the injection

5 Vaccines can be harmful vaccines send the risk of other diseases, but it is rare.

6 Why you shouldn't wait to be vaccinated So you won't get the disease you're vaccinated for.
