In "Time for Andrew", Andrew's room had flowered wallpaper with the illusion of ladies on it. Also, the quilt that Andrew's mother made had a tumble block illusion on it. Below are some examples of optical illusions, along with an explanation of what they are.
Optical illusions are pictures that trick your mind. They can make things appear to move, or they may make straight lines appear to have a curve. Some illusions make squares or triangles seem never-ending. Also, a type of optical illusion is where you see a picture one way, then when you turn it upside down it is a whole new picture. Another kind of illusion is the type where you can see two different faces in a picture, but at different angles. One of the most famous is the young lady/ old lady illusion, which you may look at below. Optical illusions are very fun and interesting.
