Hi! My name is Makana. I live in Kapaa with my parents, grandmother, sister, and dog. In school my favorite subject is math. I enjoy playing sports and watching T.V.

In Thinkquest I learned how to use Adobe Photo Shop 5.5. In Adobe I learned how to ues most of the tools and how to add texture to the pictures. I learned how to size, flaten images and draw with all sorts of tools. Another program I learned to use is Pine e-mail. It is an unique program because you can't use your mouse, you can only use the keyboad and you have to learn the different comands. I also learned how to scan pictures to the computers so you can color it on Adobe Photo shop.

My part of the project was seaweed uses. I chose to do uses because I know a lot of products that contains seaweed. I liked doing this project because now I know more about seaweed. In the beginning we really didn't know all the other students in Thinkquest. I know that being in Thinkquest is an Honor because you get to compete with schools all around the world.
