Florida Resources

Learn about different resources in Florida.

Oranges
Florida has a naturally good climate to grow citrus fruit. This has caused there to be a lot of citrus farms in Florida, particularly oranges. This allows for great quality oranges for Florida's residents because they don't have to be shipped miles, they just stay in Florida so they are fresher. When selling oranges to other places it also raises money.

Beaches
A natural resource in Florida is its beaches. Most of Florida's beaches are open to tourists. This makes a lot of money in the tourist industry for Florida.

Fish
Another natural resource of Florida is the fish. There are fishing tournaments that attract tourists, which provides more money for the state, and also the fish themselves can be sold to other places for money or traded for other goods.
