Early Major Events

The Spread of Agrarian Societies
There are many events that shaped the development of different cultures. One was the spread of agrarian societies. When agrarian societies spread it helped areas where game was scarce to have a different way to get food. Also people did not always have to move following where the game went. People could have more of a variety of foods and people against meat eating had something else to eat besides wild plants. The farmers could also develop vegetation that would grow well in their area so it would be edible. There were also some bad things about the spread of agrarian societies, however. The farmers had to cut down whatever was where they wanted their farm for land.

Religion
Another thing that shaped the development of cultures was religion. Religion was a major thing to a lot of people. There were wars fought over it, and still are. If one religion spread to another, and those leaders didn't want it to take hold in their country for a number of reasons they would start to kill everyone in their country who was of that religion.

Technology
Technology was another thing that shaped the development of various cultures. For instance, the development of the wheel. This made it so people could travel from one place to another faster. Another discovery was fire. With fire people could keep themselves warm, roast food, and keep away some animals that were scared of it. Later there were other inventions like the spinning wheel to make jobs easier.

Population Movements
Population movements also changed societies. With more people they could have more items produced, get more money from taxes, and have a larger army. But also there were bad things. If an area got to crowded then living conditions could go down for the inhabitants, you'd need more of the items you produced for your self, then the total human development rate would most likely go down.

Major Events
A lot of major events that shaped the development of various cultures. Population growth, technological innovation, the spread of religions, and the spread of agrarian societies are just a few of them.
