Learn about presenting information with different types of maps.

Presenting Information
There are many ways to present information that you know . Most people use maps to show locations, but they can be used for other things too, like land elevation or population density. Satellite images are also a good was to show information. They might be used for climate or rainfall,or a numeous amount of things. Aerial photographs can be used to show distance. Social Studies/People, Places and Environments

Standard 1: The student understands the world in spatial terms (SS.B.1.3).

Objective 1: Uses various map forms (including thematic maps) and other geographic representations, tools, and technologies to acquire, process, and report geographic information including patterns of land use, connections between places, and patterns and processes of migration and diffusion.

Amusement Park Activity

Amusement Park Map Fun- Besides both being theme parks, what other relationships are their between the two maps? (You can use groups of place names, where rides are most concentrated,etc.)
