The Circle of Life

Learn about the cycles and origins of life.

Origins of Life
Scientists hypothesize that about 5 billion year ago, the solar system was a whirling mass of gas and dust. The sun and planets is believed to have formed from this mass.

Life Comes from Life
For much of history, people believed that living things came from non-living matter, an idea called the theory of spontaneous generation.
