Buliding
number sequences aren't very easy but when you go into these
pages you will understand it a little better because we mix
it with amusement parks!
What
is prime number?
It is a number that is only divisible evenly by two numbers-itself
and one.
What
is a factor?
A whole number that can be evenly divided into another whole
number.
What
is LCM?
Lcm is the least common multiple, it is the least common
multiple of a number.
What
is GCF?
GCF is the greatest common factor, it is the
greatest common factor of a number.
What
is a factor tree?
A diagram that shows how a whole number breaks down all the
way to its prime factor
What
is a multiple?
The product of a whole given number and another whole given
number.
Example: 7x3=21 therefore 21 is a multiple of 7 and 3
Divisibility
rules
2- if the ones digit ends in 0,2,4,6, or 8
3- if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3
4- if the ones digit ends in 0,2,4,6, or 8
5- if the ones digit is 5 or 0
6- if the number is divisble by 2 and 3
8- if the number formed by the last 3 digits is divisble by
3
9- if the sum of all the digits is divisble by 9
10- if the ones digit is a 0
