Computers
One of the most popular ways to write using technology is to type the writing on the computer. This is also a way to make your finished product look more professional and impressive.

Software
On computers, the most preferred software for writing is 'Microsoft Word.' Most people use it because it has many added bonuses such as spell-check, a thesaurus and it is an easy way to present a manuscript without getting writer's block! Another reason so many people use this program is that it is a quick, simple way to write papers for reports and such.

Research
Once you have found a software program suited for you, you should use resources such as 'Encarta' or the Internet to gather information to use in your manuscript.

Communication
After you have found all of the research that you want for your document, you need to get it out into the world. There are a few ways to do this. One way is to put your paper onto the internet. Another is to host a reading in your local library or your home, all you have to do is:

A. Make sure that the document is finished.

B. Get permission to have the reading.

C. Invite as many people as possible or allowed.

D. Publicize the reading by putting up posters or placing a small ad in your local paper.

Online
MSN, AOL, and many other online networks can assist students in conducting research for background work for their writing assignments. With the help of the online providers students can access online encyclopedias and dictionaries. Search engines can be used to find excess writing information.

Create a Digital Book- Follow these easy steps to make a book on a software program.
1. Find a software program that you would prefer to uses.
2. Open a new document.
3. After you have gone through the first steps of the writing process, (draw a web, outline or notes) write a rough draft.
4. Do a revision of that first draft.
5. Create your final copy and either:
A. Print it out and have a reading of it.
B. Get it submitted onto a website.
or
C. Email it to all of your friends and tell them to forward it to all their friends.
6. Now you have written a book and spread your information all over as far as possible!
