Clarify Meaning

Interpreting
If the author does not give information prescely, you must interpret the information into understandable words

Reading
One way to clarify meaning is to first read the content and then look at the overall meaning to understand.

Note Taking
While reading or listening, the student takes notes on facts of some importance for refrence later.

Summarizing
You skim over the content you are trying to read and summarize the information so that the important facts remain.

Outlining
