Hobbies that I enjoy are reading exciting adventure books, exploring outside to find colorful, valuable rocks and playing board games such as monopoly. This Thinkquest website was a great opportunity to gain knowledge about technology.
As a 5th grader living in Nebraska City, some of my preferred activities are dancing, reading and singing. This experience has allowed me to use graphic programs such as Fireworks and Dreamweaver.
Building robots and surfing the internet for Nintendo 64 "cheats" are my interests as a 4th grader. One of my favorite parts of this project was finding pictures on the computer.
Sports I am involved in are soccer, basketball, and golf. I usually like to read mysteries and ghost stories. When I was working on this project with my peers I was honored to be able to gather information on cool facts about the Oregon Trail.
An unusual hobby of mine is collecting marbles. Being a 5th grader, I ride my bike to spend time alone without my twin sister. I was thrilled to be asked to participate in this ThinkQuest adventure because I enjoy working with people and computers.
I enjoy thinking up new ideas. This wonderful experience has been pleasant for brainstorming and applying those ideas. You could find me participating in sports 70% of the time. Basketball, soccer, and football are just a few sports I like to do.
Sometimes I wish I could read all of my books in peace and quiet every day. I love playing any kind of sports with boys, but I also love playing other girl sports. Learning in school is one of things I really like to do. I also love playing outside with my animals!
Playing games such as card games, board games, and recreational games is what I do best. As a 5th grader I have learned good strategies to be an aggressive competitor.
Some of my most treasured activities are reading classical stories and playing city rec sports such as basketball and volleyball. I find learning about our nation's history is very exciting, so when I was asked about helping my classmates with this website idea I was overjoyed.
I looooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvve Husker football. Go Big Red! Go Big Red! Don't expect to find me when there is a football game because you won't. I'll be on the couch with a remote in hand waiting for another victory (and there are many)! When I go to college I want to be the Huskers' kicker!
Learning new things and helping others with this extravaganza is what I found most exciting. Since I am only a 5th grader this made my long hours after school go by lively instead of dully.
This site project has given me a great chance to put my drawing abilities into action. My most skilled drawings are of horses. I also enjoy playing recreational games such as volleyball, soccer and horseshoes. Reading mystery stories and classical adventures take me into a fantasy land. This gives me good artistic ideas for my drawings.
