Beulah Henry

Beluah Henry was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1887. Her family was very artistic. As a young girl she would sketch pictures of inventions. In 1909, she went to Presbyterian and Elizabeth Colleges. In 1920 she moved to New York and there, she lived in a hotel. Though she was never married, her social calendar was always full.

Beluah Henry had many inventions. In 1929, she invented one of her most creative inventions of all, the "Dolly Dips." Dolly Dips are soaps containing sponges for children to use in the tub. But that's not all she came up with. She invented 110 contraptions.
