I was given the resposibility to set up a colony on another planet. As I was trying to figure out which planet was the best choice, I started to worry about making the wrong decision. I tried to think positive. It took me a couple of months to pick the planet I thought was best.
It has been three years since I first started thinking about my new colony. I have finally finished building it! I decided to go with the planet Venus. Some of the reasons I picked Venus was the fact that it is called Earth’s twin. The two planets are almost the same size, shape, and mass. Another reason is that the clouds are a beautiful yellow color. Venus also has a high surface temperature, due to the greenhouse effect. Its atmospheric pressure is ninety times as strong as Earth and it recieves two times as much sun as Earth.
We have so many new inventions that enable us to live on Venus. We have a shuttle car that helps you get from Venus to Earth and back. There is a flash elevator that you use to get supplies from Earth to Venus. There are also many other inventions.
There are so many games and activities on Venus and Earth. I am so excited and thankful that everything worked out the way it was supposed to.
