The purpose of water desalination is to produce safe drinking water and industrial water from seawater or brackish water economically.

As contamination in water has become a problem in these days, the quality of drinking water has to be improved by removing harmful substances such as trihalomethane, nitrogen and etc.

For the treatment of industrial wastewater, it is possible to concentrate and separate the dissolved components and to re-use the recovered water for industrial water.

When some valuables exist in the concentrated component, these can be recovered by using the reverse osmosis desalination plant together with the refining system.
