Flora  Plants
world of the national park is very rich and diverse. In the area from
the seaside to the highest Velebit peakes there are about 700 plant species.
About thirty of them are endemic species, plants of narrow range mostly
restricted to the Velebit and the Dinarides. The most familiar are the
endemic species Window blue bell (Campanula fenestrellata) and Waldstain
blue bell (Campanula waldsteiniana). |
