Flora

The majority of flora on the islands has mediterranean characteristics. Pastures and meadows cover 310 acres of land, parks cover 236 acres of land, holm oak forests (quercus ilex) cover 136 acres of land, holly oak forests and laurel (Laurus nobilis) 96 acres of land, grown coniferous forests 36 acres of land. Macchia grows on all islands.
