in Hilo. The falls are fed by the Wailuku river outside of Hilo. The falls very
in the amount of flow per day do to the changes in weather. This is a must see
if you are going through Hilo. There is a short walk you can take through the
rainforest to get a better vantage point of the falls and to see a massive banyon
tree.
The Wailuku river also feeds Akaka
Falls.
