The farmlands and monkey pod trees of Mark Twain's beloved Na'alehu. Endangered Green sea turtles bask on the Black and Green sand beaches at Punalu'u and Ka Lae (South Point). Ka Lae is the site of the landing of the first Hawaiians, sort of like Plymouth Rock, only there were no natives, AT ALL! The small town of Na'alehu has a great bakery, with enormous cherry pies, along with many other tasty treats! :P
