1976 The Network Era_Ethernet

Ethernet was invented in 1976 by Robert Metcalfe and David Boggs at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). They published a description of the system in 1976 in an article entitled "Ethernet: Distributed Packet Switching for Local Computer Network."
