The Irish are mainly famous for their pubs, which are situated all over Cape Town.  Their staple diet in Ireland is potatoes, which they have with almost every meal.  Their staple drink, besides beer, is tea.

Some dishes that Ireland is famous for are: Irish stew, which is mainly made of lamb and potatoes.  Other vegetables can be added for extra flavour.  Another type of Irish food is soda bread, which is a triangular-shaped bread, served with bulsumic vinegar and olive oil.

Ireland is mainly famous for their pubs, and the drinks they serve there.  Some examples of Irish drinks are: beers namely Kilkenny and Guinness, Jameson Whiskey, Irish Mist liqueur, Irish Toffee liqueur and then of course Irish coffee.

Irish pubs are always very warm and friendly.  They have a lively atmosphere, and are more like a meeting place for friends, than a drinking hole.
