Nui Wang (1949-)

While the name Nui Wang may not ring a bell outside Australia, he is undoubtedly a dominant inventor in the field of automobiles with his revolutionary brake systems.

His brakes are used in many famous car brands like Chevrolet, Ford, Holden, Mitsubishi, Proton and a good number of other companies throughout the world (Including over 20 other American car companies).

But what is so special about his brakes? Well, let us start by stating what is not so special about conventional brakes. To Nui, conventional brakes contained too many parts and the caliper housing was unnecessarily rigid, which indirectly resulted in drag.
