A workaholic as we might call him, Edison loved working, often working on his experiments day and night. Despite many failed attempts and set backs, Edison perservered and was never discouraged, as a matter of fact, he viewed his failures as a form of success, believing that he had just learnt another way which would not work.

To Edison knowledge was a very important thing, he loved learning and would read any book he could get his hands on, he was particularly fascinated with science. In addition, Edison was also possessed an insight on future inventions as well as a great deal of wisdom, some of his truly inspirational quotes include "Invention is ninety-nine percent perspiration, and one percent inspiration" and "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work".
