With his great skill as a cartoonist, powerful imagination and great insight, Walt Disney, the greatest animator of all time, completely revolutionalized animation.

Walt Disney introduced many memorable cartoon characters like the lovable Mickey Mouse and the sneaky Donald Duck, all of whom are still watched, enjoyed and loved by children of all ages (and even some adults) today.

Walt Disney made full-length cartoon animations, something unheard of during his time, creating a completely new art form. Animated cartoons saw boundless possibilities and his cartoons like "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "Fantasia", "Bambi" and "Dumbo", opened up a whole new reality. His animated-films were loved by the public (and still are) and made Walt Disney rich and famous.

With his accumulated wealth, Disney was able to achieve his long cherished dream by making his own theme park. "Disneyland" was built in California in 1955.
