Tim Burton (1958-)

In his childhood, Tim Burton was a strange loner with some weird hobbies. Today, Burton is still a rather strange person, but this strange person also happens to be Hollywood's fastest rising star in film-making.

With his amazing talent for film-making, creativity and unique insight, Burton has brought to us many refreshingly unique films. Starting with "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" as one of his first successes, Burton when on to make the perhaps classical "Bettlejuice" in 1988.

Some people found him odd others just didn't understand him, however, when Burton directed the immensely popular and profitable "Batman", there was no doubt about Tim Burton's talent.
