The Suborder Sauropodomorpha is a division of the order Saurischia, the lizard-hipped dinosaurs. It includes two groups of medium and large plant-eating dinosaurs: the Infraorder Prosauropoda (early plant-eating or possibly plant- and meat-eating animals with long necks), and the Infraorder Sauropoda (later large, four.legged plant-eaters with long necks).
