| Welcome to "The Civil Rights Movement" web site!
This site was created for ThinkQuest by three high school
students to promote awareness of the Civil Rights Movement that
took place in the United States. The focus of the Movement was to
secure equal rights for all, regardless of skin color. We have
carefully researched and put together collections of articles and
multimedia to enhance your learning of this historic event.
There are a total of six sections in this site: Home, Relive the
Movement, Interact, Virtual Museum, About, and Help. You can access
these by clicking on the names of the sections on the red bar
above. On the left side of each page, you will see the features of
that particular section. Click on them to view the information and
multimedia that we have amassed. To get the most out of your
viewing experience, it is recommended that you have the latest
version of your browser and Macromedia Flash.
