Ming Emperor Hongxi (Zhu Gaochi)

Emperor Hongxi is Emperor Yongle's eldest son. He was born in 11th year of Emperor Hongwu's reign (1378 AD), and died in 1st year of his reign. He was crown in the 7th month of 22nd year of Emperor Yongle's reign (1424 AD), and died in the 5th month of the next year. His reign only lasted for 10 months.

&Although he lived as an emperor for 10 months, he was an accomplished emperor. He had battled against enemy with his father for a long time, and he knew that Ming Dynasty was hard earned, so he ruled the state diligently and frugally. The state had improved during his reign.
