Good nutrition
(the way that we eat) is very important if we want our bodies to
stay healthy.
A healthy body can fight TB germs more easily that an
unhealthy body, which is not strong.
We should all try and eat a balanced diet.

· Oats
· Samp

| Group 2: Body building

· Fish,
chicken and meat
· Milk, cheese and eggs
· Lentils, soya beans and other
dried beans |
Group 3: Protective

· Vegetables
· Fruit |
| Raw fruit and vegetables contain
important minerals and vitamins to help your body to be healthy.
Vitamin C is found in oranges, tomatoes, guavas, cabbage etc. You
should eat some orange and some green vegetables as these
contain carotene. |

(like Creamora or Ellis Brown)
· Polony and viennas
· Cakes, biscuits, sweets
· Fizzy cool drink in cans |
These foods have
no nutritional value, and are known as "Junk Foods".
