Philani is a development organisation based in the townships of Cape Town, focussing on the rehabilitation of malnourished and underweight children and providing support to their mothers in generating an income. 

The mothers make stunning locally produced handcraft products
Our range includes :
screenprinted cloths, cushion covers, bags, t-shirts, aprons,placemats and more.
handcrafted paper, wrapping paper, cards, carrier bags.
beadwork brooches, (Aids Ribbons)
handwoven wallhangings, mats, banners, bags, cushion covers.

These are made by recycling waste cotton fabric.

These are sold in their  retail outlet based at their production centre, in Khayelitsha.
