Just like how it is called, the bent ribbon cun look like a bent ribbon. This stroke is done with a dry brush dragged slanting to the right. Then at the required distance dragged downloads with the brush handle slanting at the same angle.

Again each unit formed is similar to a horse-tooth. This is make bt a successive angular strokes with the brush held in a slanting position, alternately dragging and pressing it to produce a aquired effect.

Back!

It is so called because reputedly first used by Mi Fu of the Sung Dynasty. No outline is needed. The dots shoiuld have a good balance of light and heavy ink tones.Just like using the layered-ink.

Back!

The alum rock should be painted first, then add in the Cun. The rocks should not be make to appear disorderly bit should be of different sizes and ink tones.

Back!

This is a variation of the Lotus Leaf Cun together with Tangled Hemp fibre Cun. However the stroke of Jumbled Cun should be more coarse and vigorous.

Back!

Draw the outline first then wield brush in a way so that the strokes are woolly and full of vigour. Produce a 3-dimensional effect by skillful use of light ink and shade effect.

Back!

The outline should be faintly indicated, then use the Cun strokes with "vibrating" figures. The result is like a grotesque rock complete with cavities.

Draw the outline first then apply fine waving strokes with a not to dry brush. This is necessary as strokes make by avery wet brush will tend to merge and fail to produce a ox-hair effect.
