CHARACTER SKETCHES
T-800
The T-800, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in both Terminator movies, is a
cyborg
with a metallic
endoskeleton, flesh covering and a 120 year power supply. It has superhuman strength, can learn from its surroundings
and must obey and protect its master, who in T2 is John Connor. It also is programmed to be incapable of self
destruction. Therefore it follows a slight variation of Asimov's three laws of robotics where it cannot injure its
master, however it can harm any other human being, it obeys its master and it protects its own existence.
T-1000
The T-1000, played by Robert Patrick in Terminator 2 is a more sophisticated model of the terminator. It is a
shape-shifting liquid metal killing machine which can also repair itself when it is damaged. Not only can it assume the
form of other people, but it can also change the form of its body to produce sharp, deadly weapons.
DAVID
David is a robot boy who's main programming feature is to relentlessly love his mother. In the film A.I. he is the
most advanced and "human" robot created to date. He has the body of an eleven year old boy with brown hair, about
four and half feet tall and sixty pounds. After he is abandoned by his mother in the woods because he is not real,
he is driven to the ends of the world by his unstoppable desire to become a real boy.
