THE STORY

This is the main section of the entry. Here you can read about what we think that Dracula  really  meant. " The Story " is  structured  into  three  chapters. The first chapter,  named  " The  Romanian  Countries  and Europe in the XV-th century", actually describes Europe in the Middle Ages, the invasions of the Ottomans and the   way   some   brave   people,  including  Romanians,  confronted  with  them. 
The  second  chapter  is  named  "The  life and the reign of Vlad the Impaler". Of course  here  you  can  discover  who  really  was Vlad the Impaler. The myth of Dracula was created by certain writers that neglected that they may tear apart the glory of the brave ruler. In this chapter we would like to reestablish Vlad Tepes's glory.  The  third  chapter  is  named  " From Vlad the Impaler to count Dracula". Here  you  can  learn  about  the  creation  and  the development, in literature and cinematography, of Dracula's myth.

THE MAP

The  section  named  "The Map" consists of an interactive map of the Romanian Countries  in  the XV-th century. It is conceived as a supplement of "The Story". Here, by clicking on a city, important fortress or battle site, you can find certain aditional information about the selected item. In this way you can fix information into your memory, by connecting it to sites of the map.

INTERACTIVITY

This section is our favourite. After a "stressfull" learning, beacause in our entry you have many things to learn, you can relax here with some little games, like Vampire Killer,  Spike Man  or puzzles. Here you can also find the Quizz. In the rest of the entry  we  invite you to learn what we believe that Dracula really means. But here, not  only  that  you can check what knoledge you gained in our entry, but you can also  tell  us  what  is  your  opinion  about  topics  like  vampires and the myth of Dracula,   by   completing   questions  number  10  and  11  and  clicking  on  the "SUBMIT" button, which will send the form directly on our e-mail.
