Richard Johnson

Olympic History:

The 2000 Olympics was his fourth Olympic competition. He won a bronze team medal in 2000 and a gold team medal at the 1996 Games. His individual ranking was 19th in 2000, 11th in 1996 and 18th in 1992 Barcelona Games. He currently holds three world records.

Accomplishments:

  • Six-time defending US Indoor Champion

  • Won the World Indoor trial in 1995 and 1997

  • Won team gold at 1999 Pan Am games

  • US Outdoor Champion in 1996 and 1997

Rod White

Age: 23 Height: 6’1" Weight: 165

The 2000 was his third showing at the Olympics. White won a bronze team medal in 2000 and a gold medal in the 1996 team event. His individual ranking was 26th in 2000 and 24th in 1996.

Accomplishments:

  • At the 2000 Olympic Trials he finished fourth

  • Member of the world-record setting 1995 World Champion Indoor Men’s Olympic Bow Team

  • Finished in top five at the US Indoor Championships in 2000.

Vic Wunderle

Olympic History:

The 2000 Olympics was his first Olympic games. The US team earned a bronze medallion the team competition. He finished 2nd and won a silver medal in the 2000 individual competition.

Accomplishments:

  • Gold medallist as part of the 1999 US Pan Am Games team and a silver in the individual competition.

  • Won three golds and a silver at the 1995 Pan Am Games

  • Two-time Junior World Champion

  • Finished second at the 2000 National Indoor Championships

Janet Dykman

Age: 46 Height: 5’4" Weight: 129

The 2000 Olympics was Dykman’s second Olympic Games. She finished 53rd in the individual in 2000 and 16th at the 1996 Atlanta Games.

Accomplishments:

  • Member of the US Archery Team for 11 years

  • Finished first at the US Olympic Trials

  • Second place in the 2000 US Indoor Championships

  • Won two golds for team and individual at the 1995 Pan Am Games.

  • Won the US Target Championship for 3 years 1996-1998.

Denise Parker

Age: 26 Height: 5’7" Weight 125

Olympic History:

The 2000 Olympics will be Parker fourth appearance in the Games. She ranked 44th in the 2000 Games. She won a bronze medal for the team competition in 1988 in Seoul and placed fifth in 1992 in Barcelona.

  • Finished second at the recent World Archery Festival

  • Won the 1999 World Target Trails

  • Won a team gold and an individual bronze in the 1999 Pan Am Games

  • Holds nine National Indoor Records and seven Pan Am Games Records

Karen Scavotto

Age: 18 Height: 5’6" Weight: 120

The 2000 Olympics was the first time competing in the Olympic Games. She ranked 14th in the individual competition.

Accomplishments:

  • Finished second in the US Olympic Trials

  • Won the 2000 World Archery Festival and National Indoor Championships Senior Division

  • Member of the US Archery Team for 3 years and Junior Team for 2 years

  • Three—time defending champion in the National JOAD Championships
