In
1991 Ukraine has left the structure of the USSR and became the
independent state.
The
natural world of my country is various. In the west - green
Karpatskie mountains with aspiring up Goverla - the highest
point of Carpathian mountains. In the south the coast of
Ukraine is washed by warm waters of the Black sea. Polessky rich woods
cover northern territories. Steppes and forest-steppes occupy
central and easten areas. Unfortunately, now more than 70 %
of territory of Ukraine are ploughed up under agricultural
crops.
Natural
riches and love of inhabitants of Ukraine to the ground have
found the reflection in the state symbolics of the country.
The National Arms of Ukraine is the
image of a falcon stylized as a trident, a stone falling downwards.
The National Flag consists of two
halves - top - dark blue, as the bottomless sky, and bottom
- yellow, as boundless open spaces of the Ukrainian steppes.
During the
years of independence alof was done for preservation of the
unique natural riches of Ukraine. 4 % of its territory borrow
various nature protection zones. Now we have 16 natural reserves
with the territories completely excluded from the economic
reference. In 4 ecumenes Reserves - Black Sea, Askaniya, Karpatski,
Danube - works areunder on studying, preservation and augmentation
natural Biocenoses will be carried out. Besides 11 national
natural parks and are created accessible to visiting by tourists.
The
territory of Ukraine lays between 45 and 52 degrees of northern
breadth. In Northern America in these breadthes there is Minneapolis,
Ottawa, Montreal, Seattle. It is a moderate climatic zone.
Ukraine
is divided into three climatic zones: the mixed woods, forest-steppe
and steppe. The landscape of Ukraine it basically steppe except
two mountain provinces - the Ukrainian Carpathian mountains
and the Mountains of Crimea. Both animal, and vegetative worlds
of Ukraine are extremely various. In a zone of the mixed woods
of a wood borrow 30 % of territory.
