Skill is the degree of proficiency that can be measured in a physical activity. It is an important aspect of every sport. We talk of tennis being a 'skilful' game. In this context skill is being used to describe an ongoing physical task made up of many individual techniques and movement, for example, trapping the ball in soccer.
Some skills can be broken down into series of specific parts, each of which can be analyzed: for instance, high jumping involves the run-up, take-off, movement over the bar, the landing. Such are the parts of this specific skill.
The requirement for a variety of basic skills is, for social, recreational or purely lifestyle reasons, with us throughout our lives - perhaps exemplified in the need to dance, swim, ride a bicycle, drive a car or shoot for sport (or to control game). Skill is a highly trainable aspect of fitness.
Doing Sports Improves our Skill
'Practice makes perfect'. The more we do sports, the more skilful we become. As mention above, a sport can be finely divided into parts. When we want to gain in skills to perform such parts, we can intensively train ourselves on such parts. When u gain in skill, I believe u probably gain pleasure in playing that sport, too.
