Rumeli Hisari

Muhammad�U, built a fort in 1452 to be used for an offensive position to Constantinople. It is the castle of Rumeruhisaru. It is designed for battle-fortification. It is said that it completed in about three months. Stone-made ramparts and towers still remain. The beautiful view of the inside of the castle and the strait can be seen from the highest place on the hill.
